Australian Aboriginal Symbols and Meanings

My Aboriginal Generation is Cool

Kevin Treloar

There are many different sets of Aboriginal symbols and languages, and they vary from tribe to tribe. There were roughly 600 tribes and around 500 people in a tribe—a population of around 300,000 when Captain Cook first arrived in Australia. To date, the Aboriginal population is over 548,000.

Impelled by his fascination, admiration and passion for the symbols, language and culture of the Aboriginal people in Australia, author Kevin Treloar publishes his book titled, Australian Aboriginal Symbols and Meanings.
